The Italian way of making pasta (Spaghetti)

I grew up in Italy as an Italian national, I am here to share with you the right way to make spaghetti so you can enjoy the true Italian taste the next time you make pasta.

How to make it?

Ingredients:

• 1 pack of pasta (spaghetti)

• 1 tablespoon salt

• Source (of your preference)

What NOT to do:

• Add oil to the pasta

• Wash the pasta after draining it

Here’s how to do it:

1. Pour 3.8 litre of cold water into a large pot and bring it to a boil

2. Add salt

3. Add pasta and stir

4. Cover the pot until it starts boiling again

5. Uncover it and let it boil until the pasta becomes visible

6. Check if it done

7. Take some water from the pot (about 1 or 2 cups)

8. Drain the pasta

9. Add the pasta and sauce of your choice to a pot (and the reserved water according to the source) and serve it hot
